Village Tutors
Village Tutors offers FREE reading help to students in grades K-8. Each student is assigned one 90-minute afterschool session per week with the same tutor throughout the school year. Volunteer tutors are needed, especially Spanish speakers.
All sessions are located at Park Avenue United Methodist Church, 3400 Park Avenue, Minneapolis. Tutoring appointments are made Monday-Thursday between 2-8 p.m. Contact Jenni Schubert at 612-825-6863, ext 503 or email jenni.schubert@payfs.org.
Tutoring sessions for qualified students are paid for by Supplemental Educational Services funds. For more information, please see the Minneapolis Public Schools SES website.
Tronix Team
Tronix Team offers hands-on technology education to urban middle school students. Students build electronic projects such as boomboxes, guitars or model motorboars. Tronix Team sessions are held at Park Avenue United Methodist Church, or at schools and libraries throughout the Twin Cities. Visit www.tronixteam.org.

Park Avenue Youth Central
Keep your middle-schooler safe and productive after school. In a partnership called Central Promises, three local organizations - PAYFS, Central Area Neighborhood Development Organization (CANDO) & Green Central Community School - are joining forces to offer FREE nonviolent activities for 6th-8th graders.
Computer Learning Center
The Computer Learning Center is available FREE to adults and youth, but there are not open lab hours. If you would like to use the computer learning center, please set up an appointment or visit us for more information. Urban Summer Program
Transforming lives through outdoor experience, academic excellence, and leadership development. We hire young adults to lead camps for over 350 children and youth from across the Twin Cities. Schedules are posted by April 1.
